I had an issue before so am trying a) to avoid this error b) understand how to do this correctly.Please could you explain to me how we add the links to the accounts 2-5100 & 2-5200 (see unit 7 page 7/167)? I have tried looking through past units but the only reference to links in unit 7 (page 56) ACC406 doesn’t tell you anything in this respect.We have been told not to change links in our accounts however the account 2-5000 has links attached to it which excludes it from being changed to a header account.How do we delete the linkage?

Unit 7 create accounts and change linkages
Hi Vanessa, this is fairly simple in that to change this linked account you do it from "Setup", "Linked Accounts" and the "Payroll linked accounts".
The point this text is making is that before you can change 2-5000 to a header account, you must create another account to which toy should attach the link for the default liability payable account. Once this has been done, you will then be able to change 2-5000 to a header account.
